New intro for Jonas Maria’s channel. Took care of Illustration, animation and sound design ✦ One of the most incredible projects I've worked on!
Taking a project from start to finish is one of the things I love most, especially when the process is so hands-on and the theme resonates with me so much.
The idea was to create a digital motion design intro, but after hearing Jonas talk about the project and exchanging some references with him, I realized that an ink finish would add an extra touch and bring out more of the gothic/Frankenstein and personal aesthetic we were looking for. From there, it became an entirely hands-on project (yay!)
52 frames, all hand-drawn. Digitally animated frame by frame, stop motion for the transitions, and comp in AE.
